Lectures 1994
STEVE MASSAM and DAVE ASTLEY explained the new judging system for competitions.
DON SHARP introduced his fleshing 'horse' and knife method of pairing.
CHRIS ELLIOT demonstrated skinning a fish for a double-sided mount using a belly incision, then modelling the prepared skin onto a previously carved foam manakin.
STEVE MASSAM presented a slideshow of his method of mounting a sparrowhawk.
He then showed examples of mounted wood pigeon heads and feet to illustrate finished specimens using different coloured wax and oil paints.
DAVE ASTLEY demonstrated the AirPower mini flesher.
