Conference 2014 Results
The Guild of Taxidermists Conference Competitions
held at The Hayes Conference Centre in Derbyshire on 14th to 16th March 2014
Lectures 2014
GEORGE JAMIESON - talk on different ways of making animal manikins and reference using death and body casts.
KIM MCDONALD - another very useful update on taxidermy law with a new system of class licences in force in England and Wales and confusion over the number of species/specimens that may be sold by individual taxidermists.
DAVE ASTLEY - again showing his skill and understanding of the very versatile medium, compo, which can be used to make a gothic arch and a branch rock or model a zebra's nose. He showed how to extend the medium's working life.
