Lectures 2009
JACK FISHWICK showed his skills and expertise in a balsa mount of a kestrel chasing a fixed pose in a photograph. This is quite a challenge as we have seen in Avian Challenges. I think most people would agree that Jack made this look easy.
CARL CHURCH discussing techniques that he had learnt in bird taxidermy.
PHIL LEGGETT did an excellent demonstration on mounting a fish using the original skin method with cast head on a shaped foam manakin. Phil is renowned for his ability to create good original skin fish mounts and, for reasons he discussed, he uses a cast head.
